Performing with raw energy, folk-rockers Milo Green Band have become a peoples’ favourite. Playing some old and new-school songs, as well as those written by Milo himself, the trio’s strong, feel-good vibe runs like a train with Green’s warm voice soaring over the top.

The band’s authentic sound has been likened to artists such as Paul Kelly, Creedence and Mumford and Sons, full of fun, conviction and entertainment.

A multi-award-winning artist under several stage names, Milo Green has played from Hobart to North Queensland and comes fresh from a national tour that ended with a bang upstairs at Ballina RSL on New Years Eve supporting legendary Australian songwriter Glen Shorrock. Green takes most of his musical joy in writing his own warm folky tunes and also re-inventing classic tracks by all kinds of artists, including Michael Jackson, The Rolling Stones and more, with his admirable quirkiness.

Milo Green Band is made up of three youngish fathers who try to put the dad jokes on hold on-stage but don’t always succeed. Their light-hearted nature between songs is balanced with strong, masterful musicianship while playing, keeping the atmosphere relaxed and positive.

With soulful new songs in hand, the band heads into the studio next month to record their first single Milo’s solo EP in 2015. Keep your ears open for the new track to be released online and to radio nation-wide in coming months.
