Our aim is to provide a forum for any budding artist wishing to expand their musical and entertaining experience.

The club also provides a venue, easily accessible to those wishing to hear live Country music.

The club holds 11 music days per year, meeting on the 1st Sunday of each month.

Eleven years past has attracted many “walk up artists” from far and wide and we continue to encourage anyone who wishes to have their 15 minutes of fame.

Are you looking for somewhere to sing or play a country song, you are?  Then join us for a great afternoon of entertainment at Ballina RSL with Ballina Country Music Club.

Walk up artists allowed 3 songs and the day is open to all ages.

Artists requesting the “Band” as backing are required to provide 3 copies of “Chorded Charts” for the band (they want to play it how you do it).

You can sing your 3 songs as a ‘Solo’ or with the band.

Rotated on a monthly basis, 4 very talented “Country Music Bands” form a special feature of the day.

LINE DANCING as well as other styles are always welcome.

Guest artists from the Country Music scene, have graced the stage over the years. Tanya Kernaghan was a very special guest in 2015.

Today’s Band

Local friends and acquaintances while playing at different country venues around the Northern Rivers and Southern Queensland over the past 25 years ultimately formed many variable professional bands.

In 1994, the lead guitarist and vocalist, Mike Aleman instigated the forming of another current successful country music band and with that experience later moved on and created Sandfire.

These talented and innovative musicians have been backing the Ballina Country Music Club artists at music days now for the past 4 years.
