With a career spanning more than half a century, Bob Dylan is a cultural icon who has stood the test of time. The artist’s catchy folk tunes became the voice of our world’s youth, particularly during the sixties before he changed his sound and dove into a more electric-rock genre.

However regardless of style, Dylan always maintained artistic and storytelling integrity. And now North Coast artist Milo Green and his band bring the material to life during a tribute at Ballina RSL.

Award-winning songwriter and performer Green (AKA Paul Appelkamp), was raised on Bob Dylan’s recordings from the age of zero – a legacy of his father – and cites Dylan’s recordings as the most influential material in his own career.

Be prepared to hear endearing versions of Like a Rolling Stone, Mr Tambourine Man, All Along the Watchtower, Knockin’ on Heaven’s Door and many more in full flight, along with spoken stories about Dylan’s colourful life in between.
